me energy has completed its self-administered restructuring, emerging stronger with new investment from strategic partner Trinity Cleantech. With Indian company Trinity Cleantech Private Limited as the new shareholder, me energy is now positioned for growth and prepared to scale its pioneering charging solutions internationally.
Brandenburg, January 2025 – me energy’s Rapid Charger 150, a patented CO₂-neutral, grid-independent fast-charging station, provides a groundbreaking alternative to conventional charging solutions. This innovation offers complete location flexibility without requiring a connection to the power grid, enabling sustainable and accessible charging anywhere. Following recent market challenges, the company applied for self-administered restructuring in May 2024, which was successfully completed in October.
Trinity Cleantech Private Limited, a leading name in India’s EV charging industry, has joined me energy as a strategic investor through this restructuring process. Known for its “ThunderPlus” brand, Trinity Cleantech specializes in an extensive portfolio of EV solutions that includes both residential and commercial options as well as high-performance stations along highways and in cities. Together with me energy, Trinity Cleantech plans to drive international expansion and establish me energy’s pioneering technology across Europe and other regions.
The acquisition by Trinity Cleantech unlocks valuable opportunities for both companies. “This partnership with Trinity Cleantech not only brings financial stability but also connects us to in-depth industry expertise and global market insights,” says Alexander Sohl, founder of me energy. “Through this collaboration, we aim to create a widely accessible, CO₂-neutral charging infrastructure that makes sustainable mobility available to all,” adds Sohl.
